Welcome to the EMA Jobs & Careers Team Overview!
Out Team’s activities are aimed to support EMA members and to ensure that the resources they require to lead a successful career is available to them.
Building on the progress and firm foundation provided by the previous years’ work this year’s goals are:
- Improve online services
- Compile a “Career Database” containing contact information for companies, institutions and organizations
- Promote EMA, its students and alumni, to outside parties that could provide benefit within the context of the team’s mandate
- Provide information concerning internships, jobs & PhD positions
- Offer support to entrepreneurial activities
The responsible coordinator of the team is Stephne du Rand. The team is structured into four Working Groups:
- Online Services
Maintaining and improving the resources available to EMA members online - Downstream Promotions
Building industry contacts and promoting the EMA with improving its member’s jobs and career based opportunities in mind - Entrepreneurial Challenge
A new initiative to provide support to the entrepreneurs in EMA - Welcome Pack and Chapter Support
Maintaining and improving the Welcome Pack and supporting the Jobs & Careers related activities of the Chapters and Country Representatives

Jobs team has launched an Entrepreneurial Challenge in order to support and motivate its entrepreneurial members. It aims to stimulate their entrepreneurial activities and provide them with recognition and a showcase for their ventures.
