EMA member living in Rome? Join us for the National Erasmus Mundus Welcome Day!

EMA European chapter is grateful to Trenitalia and Lonely Planet (Italy) for their support in organising the Welcome day for Erasmus Mundus students coming to study in Italy on 5th October 2012.

EMA is inviting Erasmus Mundus alumni living in Rome to attend the National Erasmus Mundus Welcome Day.

Different academic traditions and cultures can sometimes be daunting when students first move to another country. For this reason, the Erasmus Mundus Students & Alumni Association, in collaboration with the European Parliament Information Office, the European Commission Representation in Italy and the Italian Erasmus Mundus National Structure is organizing a Welcome Day to give new Erasmus Mundus students studying in Italy a practical insight into the Italian university system and the Italian culture.

The event will provide the new students with an excellent opportunity to:
- learn more about Italian academic, cultural and social life
- get to know and network with other Erasmus Mundus students studying in Italy
- receive face-to-face support by fellow Erasmus Mundus students/ alumni
- visit Rome and spend a week-end in the ‘eternal city’

The experience of alumni and concrete practical pieces of advice can be invaluable for the new Erasmus Mundus generation. If you are willing to share your impressions from studies in Italy and would like to speak about your experience, or simply would like to help with the organisation on the spot, please contact the EMA European Chapter.
