GeoMundus Conference 2012

EMA members are invited to participate in the GeoMundus conference held on November 9-10, 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal

GeoMundus is a symposium on various Geoscience disciplines
including, but not limited to Geography, Earth and Environmental Studies, Geographic Information Science and Geoinformatics, Agriculture, Ecology and Environment, Disaster Management, and any other area in the broad field of Geoscience.

This conference is organized by the students from the consortium of Erasmus Mundus International Master's program in Geospatial Technologies.

It is a free-of-charge conference organized by students and for students. The conference will have participants from more than 25 countries, and is also an opportunity to hear from expert speakers from different fields of Geoscience. The organisers aim to deppen the knowledge of the participants in regards to the newest Geospatial technologies (Geographic Information Science (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

GeoMundus will take place on Friday and Saturday, the 9th and 10th of November at the Instituto Superior de Estatística e Gestão de Informação (ISEGI), University of New Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal.
