On February 1st 2012, Ryan Anthony Buccat conducted a promotional exhibit and convened with the Ateneo Student Exchange Council (ASEC) of the Ateneo de Manila University.
The event was entitled “ASEC’s JUMPSTART! A Study Abroad Fair” an international education fair aimed to encourage students and faculties at the university to support an academic exchange of undergraduate, masters and doctorate courses with various university institutions from all over the globe.
The fair was joined by representatives from New Zealand, France, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Taiwan, Switzerland and several other countries from Europe. Other organisations involved in the event were the British Council, and Erasmus Mundus.
The exhibit event successfully motivated students to visit the promotional talks and attend the presentation regarding courses and scholarships from the different countries and organisations that offer study abroad programmes.
Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumi Association (EMA) was one of the major sponsors. As part of the event Mr. Ryan Anthony Bucccat was able to introduce EMA and the programme to the students and faculties of the different colleges within the university.
After the event, the Ateneo Student Exchange Council (ASEC) committed to promote the Erasmus Mundus Program and the EM Association throughout the whole semester of 2012 headed by Melissa Wong as the Project and Scholarship Coordinator of ASEC via University Programs and Social Networking.
