Bilal Aurang Zeb

“Erasmus Mundus Programme in International Public Policy has opened avenues for me which I could never have been able to explore otherwise.”

After graduating with Mundus MAPP, Bilal Aurang Zeb is now working for the United Nations in Southern Sudan.
Mundus MAPP is a 2-year-long international Masters course that embeds the nascent field of transnational public policy into a European context. As part of the Programme, Bilal did his first MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies in Netherlands, after which he finished his second Masters in Public Policy with Merit from the Central European University in Hungary.
After graduation, he joined CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation at their International Headquarters in South Africa where he served as the Country Support Person for Eastern and Central European Region and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist for CSI Program in more than 57 countries around the world.
Currently, Bilal is working as Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist in Southern Sudan for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) where he is managing the Global Fund’s grants for TB, Malaria and HIV/AIDS. He specializes in management of development projects including design; strategic and operational planning; implementation; as well as monitoring and evaluation.
