Climate 2009 - Online Conference

The 2nd online Climate Conference "Klima 2009/Climate 2009" will be held from 2nd to 6th November 2009. This year's conference will focus on the latest scientific findings and information on social, economic and political aspects of the climate change.

Organized by the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, the "Klima 2009/Climate 2009" is a combination of a scientific symposium and possibilities for discussions. It will be conducted entirely online - consequently climate friendly by avoiding CO² emissions caused by the travelling of participants.

The papers for the symposium have already been selected, and will be accessible online during the timeframe of the conference. Participants are able to read the latest scientific findings and information from a variety of fields, comment on them and discuss with authors and participant experts.

The event is interesting for academics and researchers in the field as well as for companies, members of NGO's and governmental insitutions, social institutions, and so on. The topic will be discussed with respect to its social, economic, political dimensions, and aims at knowledge transfer as well as networking opportunities. Different options to discuss will be provided through an online forum.
