EMA Nepal signs MoU with European Union Delegation

The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal and the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA) Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 14th July 2023. It was signed by H.E. Nona Deprez on behalf of the EU delegation to Nepal and Nirajan Khadka, EMA country representative for Nepal.

The purpose of the MoU is to establish a formal agreement between EMA Nepal and the Delegation of the European Union in Nepal for the implementation of a Mentorship Programme for the delegation’s Youth Sounding Board.

Both parties agreed to collaborate to provide mentorship opportunities for the members of the Youth Sounding Board. The mentees will gain valuable guidance and support from experienced alumni, and foster their professional and personal development through the mentorship relationships, enabling them to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career prospects. The collaboration will also strengthen the bond between EMA and the Delegation by engaging students and alumni in a meaningful way, thus furthering their connection with the European Union.

This MOU will commence on 14th July 2023 and remain in effect for the duration of the mentorship program for the first cohort, unless terminated earlier by mutual agreement or for other valid reasons. Both parties shall review the MOU's effectiveness periodically and may extend or modify it based on the outcomes and evolving needs of the mentorship program.
