Experiences in Amsterdam: The Erasmus Mundus City of the Year

The Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) is pleased to announce that Amsterdam has been chosen as the Erasmus Mundus City of the Year! This title celebrates Amsterdam's vibrant culture, rich history, and outstanding contributions to international education.

Why Amsterdam?

Amsterdam, known as the "Venice of the North," has long been known for cultural diversity and academic excellence. The city's picturesque canals, historic architecture, and arts scene create a unique environment that attracts students and scholars from around the world, including Erasmus Mundus students. With its world-class universities and research institutions, Amsterdam offers a dynamic and inclusive educational experience.

A City of Multicultural Experiences

Erasmus Mundus students and alumni have cherished memories of their time in Amsterdam. Whether exploring the iconic Van Gogh Museum, cycling along the picturesque streets, or immersing themselves in the vibrant nightlife, Amsterdam offers a wealth of experiences for students seeking to broaden their horizons.

Amsterdam has been selected as the Erasmus Mundus City of the Year through a poll conducted within our community. This process reflects the collective admiration and appreciation for Amsterdam's charm among Erasmus Mundus students and alumni.
