What are EMA Days?
Once a year, the Erasmus Mundus Students & Alumni Association (EMA) dedicates a special occasion to bring together Erasmus Mundus students, alumni, and friends across the world. It’s a celebration of our global community, a chance to connect, learn, network, and create memories together.
This year, EMA Days will once again expand beyond a single day, offering activities across two days so that more people, in more time zones, can take part in the festivities.
Who can participate?
Everyone connected to the Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ family is welcome:

It’s not just about reconnecting with old friends, it's also about welcoming new ones into our community and to encourage them.
How and when will EMA Days be held in 2025?
Events will take place both in-person and online around the world, giving you the flexibility to join wherever you are. You could:

Gather in a park, a café, or a cultural space with fellow alumni

Host a workshop, talk, or skills-sharing session

Share your traditions, recipes, music, or talents with a global audience online
📅 Save the date: Saturday, October 18 and Sunday 19, 2025, simultaneously in multiple locations 🌍
Activities will happen simultaneously in multiple locations across the globe, along with a main global online event for those who can’t attend in person.
What’s the theme for EMA Days 2025?
This year’s theme is: ✨ “Living Our Values, Creating Global Impact” ✨
We will explore how EMA’s values diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and community translate into real actions that make a difference worldwide.
Through local and virtual events, we want to showcase how our global community lives these values every day.

What is EMA Days?
Once a year, the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) dedicates a day to gathering students and alums in different cities worldwide on the same day. It is an opportunity to meet many friends, network, or just socialise and share the fun! We will celebrate over two days this year so more people can join the festivities.
Who can participate?
We highly encourage EMA members, current students and alums of Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) and current students and alums who benefited from the Erasmus+ programmes. Moreover, you can also invite your friends who are interested in EMJM, Erasmus+ and EMA.
How and when will EMA Days be held this year?
EMA Days events can be held in person or online. You can meet at a park, in a public space, or wherever you can showcase your skills. Maybe you can teach your favourite recipe to a global audience! EMA Days will be held on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 2024, simultaneously in multiple locations, at various times throughout the day, depending on the location. There will also be a main global event happening virtually for those who can't join any specific location's event. It's a full day of fun around the world!
Is there a theme for this year's EMA Days?
EMA drew inspiration from the spirit of this summer's 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. This year's EMA Days theme will be "Shining Together", highlighting our mission of breaking down barriers and fostering global connections.
Can I organise an EMA Days event?
Our most active volunteers, primarily PRs and CRs, among others, organise EMA Days events in their locations. Fill out this form to schedule an event in your city, country or online!.
