OCB Success Stories - July 2023

CR Net & PR Net Combined July Huddle

CR and PR Network have collaborated for a second time this year to organise the July Combined CR & PR team gathering. The meeting was moderated by the CR Net Coordinator, Ana Janjusevic, on the 9th of July, 2023.

Around fifty CRs & PRs attended the huddle and had a chance to hear about the activities of the EMA branch in Ghana, presented by the CR for Ghana Hornam Azanda, and CR Mentor Felix Kwabena Donkor. Furthermore, the new MB that took office on 1st July 2023 had its first official appearance at the huddle. The President, Ashiqur Rahman, presented the MB's plans for the CR and PR Networks and introduced the Management Board team. The joint huddle was also an occasion to remind the participants about different collaboration opportunities. The two Networks see potential in CRs & PRs collaboration to promote EMA and their programs and will continue organising combined meetings in the future.

European Higher Education Fair in Japan

The European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) was held in Tokyo (24th June 2023) and Kyoto (25 June 2023), organised by the European Union Delegation (EUD) in Japan. EMA was represented by its CR for Japan, Yoko Kitaguchi. A diverse pool of participants, consisting of graduate students looking for a second master’s degree, undergraduate students who want to study abroad, and people interested in higher education, filled the convention centre. The Tokyo booth was more popular than the Kyoto booth, which means more potential for EMJMD promotion in Kyoto!
