The Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA AISBL) is proud to announce the signing of a new strategic partnership with Impactpool, marking a major milestone in EMA’s commitment to supporting the professional development and global employability of Erasmus Mundus students and alumni.
Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 10 May 2026, the collaboration establishes a framework for long-term cooperation between EMA and Impactpool, one of the world’s leading career platforms connecting professionals with opportunities in international organizations, NGOs, development institutions, and the United Nations system.
The agreement was finalized through the efforts of Fabrizio Pelosi, lead of EMA’s Partnership Development Unit, with the dedicated support of EMA President Marvi Qazi. On behalf of Impactpool, the MoU was signed by Henrik Ryden.
Expanding Access to Global Career Opportunities
This partnership represents a significant advancement for the Erasmus Mundus community, opening new pathways for members to access meaningful, impact-driven careers across the international sector.
Under the agreement, EMA members will benefit from enhanced exposure to career opportunities within international organizations, including the United Nations, international NGOs, and international financial institutions. The collaboration also aims to strengthen networking opportunities between EMA talent and global employers while supporting professional growth through specialized training and career-oriented initiatives.
Fellowship Programme for EMA Members
One of the flagship initiatives of this collaboration is the launch of a dedicated Fellowship Programme for EMA members.
Through this programme, up to 250 selected EMA students and alumni will receive access to a three-month fellowship initiative, including one year of complimentary premium access to Impactpool’s professional career resources via a unique promo code.
The fellowship will provide participants with valuable tools and guidance designed to strengthen their career readiness and improve access to opportunities within the international development and public service sectors.
Joint Career Events and Professional Development
EMA and Impactpool also expressed a shared commitment to organizing joint professional career fairs, networking events, webinars, and workshops aimed at bridging the gap between emerging global talent and international employers.
In addition, Impactpool will contribute presentations, training activities, and professional guidance during EMA events, further supporting the association’s mission to empower students and alumni with the skills and resources needed to thrive in international careers.
A Shared Vision for Impact
Speaking about the partnership, EMA President emphasized that the agreement reflects the association’s ongoing dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for its members and strengthening EMA’s global network of strategic collaborations.
As EMA continues to grow as a vibrant international community of students and alumni, partnerships such as this reinforce the association’s role in connecting talent, knowledge, and opportunity across borders.
This collaboration with Impactpool marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one focused on empowering the next generation of globally engaged professionals and leaders.
