CRNet June Monthly Huddle

The CR Net Monthly huddle was held on 11 June 2023, following the EMA General Assembly. Ana Janjusevic, the CR Net Coordinator, shared the assembly's main outcomes and recognised the CRs' contributions. She also introduced five new members who joined the CR Net recently.



The second part of the huddle featured a presentation by Virza Maradhika, the CR for Indonesia. He showcased the activities and achievements of the EMA branch in Indonesia, one of the network's most active branches. He also explained how he collaborated with the EUD for Indonesia and ASEAN and responded to questions about the challenges and opportunities of promoting EMA in an archipelagic country like Indonesia.



EMA Bangladesh meets Newly Selected Erasmus Scholars

On 21 May 2023, the Erasmus Mundus Association Bangladesh (EMA-BD) hosted a video discussion session for the upcoming Erasmus Mundus students from Bangladesh. The session aimed to answer their questions about visas, document attestation, legalisation, and post-admission procedures. The event was held online via Zoom and attended by about 90 students selected for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programmes for the 2023-2025 session.


Sayed Muhammad Baker, the EMA Country Representative for Bangladesh moderated the session. He welcomed the participants and congratulated them on their achievements. He then briefly introduced EMA, its goals, and the EMA-BD team members at the event. Among them was Md. Ashiqur Rahman, the President of EMA, Md Mahamudul Hasan Mredul, and Rakib Rayhan, the EMA Deputy Country Representatives for Bangladesh.



Md. Ashiqur Rahman delivered a presentation on the visa application process and the documents required for it. He also shared some tips and advice on preparing for the departure and arrival in Europe. Md Mahamudul Hasan Mredul and Rakib Rayhan answered specific queries from the participants throughout the event. The session ended with a vote of thanks from Sayed Muhammad Baker and a group photo of the participants.
