Roy Bishwajit, Bangladesh: Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management (MEDfOR)

After starting my journey through Spain, first thing that I experienced here in Europe is that people are very happy, independent and they live their each and every day life with full of joy and delightfulness.

Day after my arrival in Barcelona, Spain; my host University of Lleida had organized a city tour. On that day, I met a lot of my Erasmus friends who are very friendly. However, the way of greetings (I mean kisses on cheeks with female friends) was very uncommon and it was the first cultural shock for me!

However, I started getting used to with this new cultural greeting, day by day.

I became well-known in my residence because of my Bangladeshi dishes. I like to cook and almost every day someone was tasting my cuisines and they liked them a lot. This sharing of food helped me to introduce them with my culture, foods and my beautiful country Bangladesh.
