The elected 2021-2023 EMA Presidential Team can be seen below. We wish both, Gabriella Mikiewicz (President) and Md. Ashiqur Rahman (Vice President) the best of luck for their presidency and are looking forward to keep receiving applications for EMA's Management Board (more information below). ​

 

The voting process of the final two President & Vice-President candidates was be done by all EMA “Ordinary” Members that attended the 2021 General Assembly.

The following information regarding the call for applications and position information will be kept live for posterity:

Presidential Team Election Information:

​

The President is the elected head of the Association for a period of two (2) years. Similarly elected is the Vice President, who supports the President in the day-to-day management of the Association and acts in his/her place in the event of incapacity. The elected Presidential team will then select the other Management Board Directors.

EMA President

The President is the primary representative of EMA and is hereby endowed with the power to represent EMA in all respects. The President is responsible to provide strategic leadership and to coordinate all activities of the Association. The President is accountable to the whole EMA community. In consultation with the Management Board (and Advisory Board), the President sets short and long-term goals to ensure EMA is mission-centred and outcome-oriented.

EMA Vice President

The Vice President is responsible to provide administrative leadership and coordinates administrative and supportive activities of EMA. The Vice President reports to the President. In consultation with the Management Board (and Advisory Board), the Vice President sets short and long-term goals on administrative and support units to ensure the EMA is mission-centered and outcome-oriented.

How can I apply?

Application details, including the list of required documents as well as the link to the application form for the MB director positions can be found in the respective job description linked above.

Application Documents for Management Board Directors:

  • Proof of approval as an Ordinary member from the community portal; 

  • CV / Resume stating only relevant experience for the position;

  • Motivation letter (max 200 words);

  • Presentation deck (max 5 slides including: About You, Motivation, Plan for 2 Year Term);

  • Video/Audio pitch (maximum 1,5 mins):

    • What do you plan to contribute to EMA?

    • How do you want to lead your Unit?

    • What is your leadership style - what type of leader are you?

  • 2 Recommendation letters containing contact details (email and phone number).
